SIX STATE ELECTION RESULTS....FULL DETAILS WITH PARTY...AIADMK,TMC,UDF,CONGRESS,NR CONG,YSR CONG....AIADMK,TMC,CONG MINISTRY LIST READY....

Posted by tamil on Friday, May 13, 2011

Tamil Nadu (234)
Jayalalithaa's action to rope in DMDK and many smaller parties proved to be a masterpoint... The 13-party strong alliance comprehensively won even in the northern districts of Tamil Nadu, where the DMK had banked on the combined strength of the Vanniyar-based PMK and Thol Thirumavalavan's Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi to make substantial gains.
Clearly, successive defeats in elections since 2004 had taught Jayalalithaa the importance of a strong alliance. In 2006, she went almost on her own against a formidable front of DMK-Congress-PMK-Left and had to settle with just 60 seats. This time, she showed an uncharacteristic willingness to negotiate and conceded seats from the AIADMK share to Vijayakanth  DMDK and the Left.

 West Bengal (294)
Mamata dedicated the Trinamool victory to the people. "We will establish democracy, not patry-cracy. We will bring back the lost glory of Bengal. It is the victory of Ma, Mati, Manush. This is like the second freedom of Bengal," she said as hundreds cheered in front of her humble house in Kalighat.

Election 2011 turned out to be a one-sided match, and the winning captain wasn't even playing. The scoreline looked ridiculous. Like the sight of a bunch of gangly teen bikers, in expensive shades, thundering through narrow Alimuddin Street, shouting "Aye Buddha, dekhe ja, Mamatar khamata"
   Kerala (140)
The Congress and allies won maximum seats in Muslim-dominated Mallapuram and Christian belts Ernakulam and Kottayam. The CPM and allies won in Kannur, Kozhikode, Kollam, Palakkad, Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram, which all have significant Hindu concentration. Ezhavas, the community to which Achuthanandan belongs, were at the vanguard of Hindu consolidation for their man. Their pro-Achuthanandan fervour was evident in the Left's strong showing in Alappuzha where Congress had hoped to do well.
 Assam (126)
Thumping majority in the assembly, Tarun Gogoi is now in a position to hold conclusive talks with Ulfa and other underground outfits like Karbi Longri National Liberation Front (KLNLF), United People's Democratic Solidarity (UPDS), Dima Halom Daogah (DHD) and a faction of National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB).

 Puducherry (30)
All India NR Congress floated by former chief minister N Rangasamy after quitting the Congress ahead of the 2011 polls emerged as the single largest party by winning 15 of the 17 seats it contested. Its ally AIADMK bagged five of the 10 it contested.
