TAGS:The CBI officials said the Department of Telecommunication did send a reply to the investigative agency when it sought clarifications from the Telecom Secretary. This was, specifically, on the alleged multiple telephone connections that the BSNL provided to the Maran residence and the case thereof.'But the clarifications sent were not found to be satisfactory' by the CBI top officials told The New Indian Express. The last CBI communication, seeking further clarification on this particular case against Maran, was sent to the Telecom Ministry in June 2010 when DMK’s A Raja was holding the portfolio.The CBI officials said the agency has not got any response from the Ministry|DoT since June 2010 on the Maran BSNL matter. Raja resigned from his post in November 2010. Kapil Sibal now holds the portfolio.
